The 2010 Showcase of Wine & Cheese was a tremendous success, raising more than $1,026,000 with the support of thousands of businesses and individuals in the Portland community. At the Winemaker's Private Reserve Dinner, 500 guests gathered to pay tribute to 30-year Board member, Ken O'Neil. Special guest and keynote speaker, Queen Latifah, spoke about the value of Boys & Girls Clubs in helping young people reach their dreams. At the Showcase of Wine & Cheese, more than 2,000 wine lovers gathered to taste a wide variety of wines, cheeses and specialty foods. Thank you to our presenting sponsor, Fred Meyer, and all our community partners for raising valuable funds on behalf of more than 20,000 kids impacted by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Portland!
