Summer Kids in the Park (SKIP)
Announcing a partnership between BGCP and City of Gresham Parks!The City is putting a hop and a SKIP into summertime with Summer Kids in the Park, an eight-week Gresham parks recreation program and free lunch for all youth 18 or younger, provided by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Portland Metropolitan Area.

Literacy CentersLiteracy Centers are a part of the regular programming of the Club to encourage and promote understanding of the written word among our Club members. During Club operating hours, all members are welcome to join the literacy activities offered each day. Literacy Centers are available at all six Club locations in the Portland metropolitan area.
Youth & Family Services
Our Youth & Family Services (YFS) Division provides counseling and guidance to Club members and their families. This prevention-based program focuses on members’ individual needs and youth development. For more information, please contact the Youth & Family Services Coordinator at your nearest Club.

Back to School Camp
Be the top of your class! Brush up on your skills in math, reading, and science, while having a blast with your friends.

Campers who are registered for our Sunrise Club participate in early morning activities in various program areas.
We kick off camps with large group games and songs then campers head off to their fun camp activities with their Camp Leader.
Available for Club members ages 12 (going into 7th grade) to 18 years old. Flyers are available at the front desk.
Available from 1:00pm – 5:30pm, our drop-in program includes Games Room tournaments, gym games, art & music activities and more. Our drop-in program is FREE with a current membership.
After lunch, campers will head to an afternoon camp or our drop-in program. Our afternoon camps are structured in smaller group settings.
Lunch begins at 12:00pm when camps are finished, include a recess time and go until 1:00pm. All kids are responsible for bring-ing a sack lunch. Please do not send items that need to be refrig-erated or microwaved.

Creative Crafts (ages 9-12):
Paint, Cut & Glue. Use a variety of supplies to make fantastic take home projects.
*Basketball (ages 6-12):
Enhance your basic shooting, passing, dribbling, and rebounding skills while learning the rules.
Drama (ages 6-12):
Learn basic drama skills as we put together a short play in just one week! Perform it at Friday Fun Day!
Swimming (ages 6-12):
Splish Splash! This small group camp walks to the Sellwood pool for supervised fun during open swim!
Minecraft (ages 8-12):
Build your own world in the ever popular video game. Design and create in teams and individual quests.

Regence Boys & Girls Club

Club membership is open to all youth, ages 6–18 and entering 1st grade. Boys & Girls Clubs welcomes all youth regardless of residential area or school of attendance.
Summertime is fun at the Regence Boys & Girls Club! We offer a wide selection of free programs, weekend clinics, field trips and activities! All at an affordable cost for you and your family! Our Club is open for every afternoon for safe, supervised summer fun!
We will offer 3 Saturday Clinics throughout the summer in Cheer & Dance, Football, and science/art! All for just 10$ per child! Register in advance or come the day of and register!
Field Trips and Special Events
We will be offering a variety of field trips as a chance to explore the city and other parts of Oregon & Washington! There will be a permission slip/registration required which you can find at the front desk after May 12th, 2013. Space is limited. We will also be holding special events throughout the summer! Don’t miss out on the fun and Sign-Up!
We will offer a wide variety of Programs from 12:30-6:00pm in Performing Arts, Science & Technology, Skill Building, and Sports & Fitness that will engage & teach your youth! Our Specialty Programs are FREE for current members! All programs require registration & are limited in space. See attached page for program details.
We offer a specialized Teen Program for current members ages 12 (entering the 7th grade)-18. Our Club has a separate space for these youth that includes computers, games, a fitness center, and a music recording studio! We will be offering a variety of programs, activities and field trips (including college tours) JUST for Teens! Information will be available after May 12th 2014!

Wattles Boys & Girls Club

Summertime is fun at the Wattles Boys & Girls Club! We offer a wide selection of camps and activities, starting with Sunrise Club at 7:30am and ending our activities at 6:00pm. Our Club is open for a full day of safe, supervised summer fun!
Campers who are registered for our Sunrise Club will have first use of our facility each day! Summer camp & breakfast included.
We kick off camps with Club Meeting and then campers will head off to their favorite activities with their Camp Leader. Full camp descriptions available at our location or on our website.
Afternoon Programs & Activities
Available from 12:00pm – 6:00pm, Afternoons are FREE with membership and includes lunch.
Every Thursday, we will take kids on a different, exciting field trip! Sign-ups will open every Monday morning for that week’s trip at 7:30am. Space is limited and is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
After lunch on Wednesdays, campers will head to an afternoon baking workshop or our drop-in program. Our baking workshop is structured in a smaller group setting and is offered once a week.
