
Recipient of the Regal Family Film Festival Grant- Summer 2009
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Portland is proud to announce a new partnership with Regal Entertainment Group. The Inukai Family Boys & Girls Club, located in Hillsboro, has been selected as a recipient of the Regal Free Family Film Festival grant. Regal's Entertainment Group Free Family Film Festival is designed to give Club members a fun and engaging time during the summer, Regal's grant will offer free admission to Boys & Girls Club members to two morning movies each week.

Located near downtown Hillsboro, the newly remodeled and expanded Inukai Family Club offers a host of after school and summer programs for youth ages 6–18. Thanks to generous community support, recent additions to the Club include a gym, cafeteria, Kids Café kitchen and a weight room.
After School Programs

Art Room
Our Arts and Crafts program provides youth with enriching activities that introduce them to a variety of creative outlets. Programs include art history, painting, and craft programs for members of all ages.
Games Room
Filled with games such as foosball, billiards, bumper pool, and ping-pong, the Games Room allows Club members to participate in a variety of social recreation on the individual and group levels. All ages may join the “Sportsmanship Club,” which teaches youth how to participate fairly and how to play with dignity.
Kids Café
With the support of the Oregon Food Bank and the CACFP Child Nutrition Program, the Kids Café provides a healthy meal and snack Monday through Friday. On no-school days, the Kids Café offers breakfast, lunch and a snack.
Learning Center
Members can receive homework assistance, and participate in cooking projects, science and cultural art projects through the Learning Center. There are also computers with high-speed Internet access and a large collection of educational software for youth of all ages.
Teen Center
Teen members (grades 7–12) enjoy their own area within the Club that includes a lounge area for billiards, foosball, video games and movies. Teens are offered programs in all of the above areas and engage in small groups that include College Tours, Job Ready!, Keystone, Torch Club, and Junior Staff.
Power Hour
All club members in first through sixth grade participate in POWER Hour Monday through Thursday from 5:00 to 6:00 pm. During POWER Hour we offer homework assistance, small learning groups, and a wide range of educational activities.
Summer Programs
Club members can take part in our fun and engaging summer activities such as sports camps and the ever popular Wacky Water Week. Summer programs include:

Sports Programs
Indoor Soccer registration will begin mid-October.
Help support the Clubs by volunteering to be coach, assistant coach, or referee.

To use receive transportation, parents of Club members must complete an alternate pick-up and drop-off form with the Hillsboro School District. This form must be turned in at the child’s respective school. Download and complete the form here.
