What do the Boys & Girls Clubs offer to kids?
Boys & Girls Clubs are safe and positive place for kids to enjoy fun and engaging programs at an affordable price. Paid, professional staff members supervise a wide variety of programs to meet the needs of various ages and interests. Activities include leadership and community service clubs, homework help, computers, games, sports, dance, swimming, photography, arts and crafts, discussion groups, college prep, youth employment, delinquency prevention, and much more. Boys & Girls Clubs offer something for every young person.
How are Boys & Girls Clubs different from other youth organizations?
Boys & Girls Clubs are specially designed to serve youth 6–18 years old. As a result, young people find a unique sense of belonging at their Club. Clubs are supervised by trained youth development professionals, not just volunteers. They offer a wide variety of programs that build character, enhance education, cultivate creativity, encourage fitness and teamwork, and teach important life skills—all for the affordable rate of only $5 per year.
Why is membership only $5 per year?
We keep our membership fees low so that all children have the opportunity to belong to our Clubs. As a not-for-profit organization, we are fortunate to have partners and donors who enable us to employ trained professionals and to offer a wide array of programs.
