How old do I have to be to join?
Generally, Boys & Girls Clubs serve young people 6–18 years old. Programs based in a school setting (instead of one of our six club locations) are restricted to the age range of the students attending that school.
How can I sign up?
Download an application here
or pick one up at a Club location. Fill out and return the completed application to the nearest club.
What is the Open Door Policy?
This means that members are free to enter and leave the Club. It is the responsibility of the parents/guardian to instruct you as to whether you can leave the Club or not.
When can I go in to a Club?
Generally, the Clubs are open from after school until early evening. Hours vary slightly between Club locations, so please contact your local Club directly for details.
Can I bring electronics and toys to the Club?
We encourage you to leave your electronics and toys at home. Since there are so many programs and activities at the Club, you won’t need them!
Can I bring money to the Club?
You can bring money to the Club to use in the snack and soda vending machines.
Can I go on a field trip?
Many of our Club staff offer specialized field trips during the school year that relate to programs and projects that are underway, and youth who have taken part in those programs will be invited. For some of these trips there will be an additional cost. During the summer field trips are more recreational in nature and may be open to the general Club membership. Summer field trips have an additional cost.
What if I get hungry at the Club?
Snacks are provided after school at most Club locations. Many of our locations also offer hot meals through our Kids Café programs. Please check with the Club nearest you for details about this program and for menu options and food service times. In addition, all our Clubs have vending and soda machines.
