Can volunteers use or teach specific skills?
Yes, volunteers can share their personal skills and talents with members. Set up a meeting with the Program Director at a Club near you to explore available opportunities.

Can anyone volunteer?
Yes, anyone who passes a criminal background check and attends a short volunteer orientation is eligible to volunteer.

Are high school students eligible?
Yes, we encourage teens to volunteer. Many students complete senior graduation projects at Boys and Girls Clubs.

Can my group volunteer?
We accept groups of volunteers for on-going projects as well as one time activities. Contact the Club nearest you to see if they have a program that fits the number of people in your group.

Do I have to volunteer on the same day every time I volunteer?
We encourage volunteers to set a consistent schedule with the Program Director as this allows for our staff to plan accordingly. Additionally, many of our kids look forward to seeing volunteers each week so a consistent schedule is a successful way to build relationships with youth.
