Art Room
Our arts program engages our members’ creativity through activities that include painting, drama and dancing. Holiday themes and international artists bring a cultural component to the program.
Gym
Our gym is the perfect place for Club members to participate in a variety of active games that include basketball, kickball, jump rope, and relay races. We also organize intramural teams to compete with other Clubs and hold occasional tournaments and special events.
Games Room
The Games Room program allows members to learn teamwork, cooperation, sportsmanship and fairness through games such as ping pong, foosball, and pool. City and State Games Room tournaments allow members to meet and compete with other Boys & Girls Club members.
Learning Center
With nine computers, a high-speed Internet connection, and a large collection of educational software, the Learning Center is intended to spark the interest of all Club members. Members participate in fun and educational activities that include science projects and Lego Robotics. POWER Hour is also offered through the Learning Center, which provides homework assistance for all members Monday through Thursday.
Teen Center
This separate space is reserved for members between the ages of 13 and 18 to watch movies, play pool or just hang out with friends. The Teen Room also is the headquarters for national programs such as Keystone Club and Career Launch. A variety of health and life skills programs help teens develop positive communication skills and good hygiene.
Power Hour
This national incentive program encourages all Club members to work on homework or participate in educational activities every Monday through Thursday from 3–5:00 PM.
